How this site handles information.

Playing games

Games run on your device. Your guesses, individual moves, and scores are not submitted to an application server. When you win or solve a game while signed in, we send the game name to Supabase to record one completed day for your streak. Game rounds are held in memory and cleared when you reload or leave a game.

Browser storage

We use local storage to remember whether sound is enabled. The preference stays in this browser until you change it or clear the site’s stored data. It is not an account identifier and does not contain your game answers.

We do not use advertising trackers. Browser storage is separate from cookies. Signed-in accounts use a secure session cookie; the analytics described below does not use tracking cookies.

Privacy-friendly analytics

We use Umami hosted on our own server to understand which pages and games people visit. It collects page paths, referring websites, browser and device information, and approximate location. Umami processes IP addresses to derive anonymous visit identifiers and location; it does not store raw IP addresses in its analytics database. We exclude URL query strings and fragments, and do not send account identifiers, email addresses, passwords, or game answers to analytics. We also count game starts, wins, losses, draws, restarts, unfinished rounds, favorites, help opens, catalog filters, and account actions such as sign-ins and password reset requests. Events include only the relevant game, difficulty, mode, broad duration range, and coarse error category. Opening a game page alone does not count as starting a game. We exclude screen resolution, browser language, and typed text. We do not enable session recordings or cross-site tracking.

Analytics respects your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings. You can also block the analytics script in your browser. Analytics data stays on our server and is not sold to advertisers.

Accounts

When you create an account or sign in, your email and password are sent over HTTPS to Supabase, our authentication provider. If you enter a name during registration or in account settings, it is stored with your account. Changes to your email and password are also sent over HTTPS to Supabase. Email changes may require confirmation from both your current and new inboxes. Supabase manages password verification and email confirmation. The site does not save your password in browser storage.

Supabase session tokens are stored in this browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and renew your session. Sign out on shared devices; signing out clears this browser’s session. Accounts do not currently sync unfinished game progress. Favorites and finished-round statistics sync for signed-in players.

Daily streaks

Signed-in streaks store your account ID, UTC completion day, and the first completed game that day in Supabase. Access rules restrict each account to its own streak history. Guest streaks stay in this browser. We also cache signed-in streaks locally and temporarily keep a pending completion if syncing fails. A pending completion is retried on the same UTC day; it is not added to a different account’s streak.

Player profiles and favorites

Your player profile is private to your account. Signed-in favorites and finished rounds are stored in Supabase with your account ID, game, difficulty, result, completion time, and elapsed seconds. Access rules restrict this data to your account. Browser storage caches those stats and queues changes for retry when offline. Guest favorites and stats stay in this browser and are kept separate from signed-in accounts. Clearing browser data removes guest history and unsynced changes; account data already synced remains available after signing back in.

Password reset

Requesting a password reset sends your email to Supabase, which emails a reset link. Your new password is sent over HTTPS to Supabase and is not saved in browser storage.

Website requests and hosting

Your browser sends ordinary requests to the website’s host to load pages and assets. Those requests include technical information such as an IP address and browser request headers. Hosting infrastructure may keep access or security logs. Game preferences and answers are not deliberately included in these requests by the game code.

Your controls

You can mute sound on any game and clear this site’s browser data through your browser settings. Clearing local storage resets your sound preference and removes the saved account session from this browser. You can play without creating an account.
